OUR MISSION
Ashes Redeemed is a faith-based organization committed to offering secure, dependable, and economically viable housing solutions for adult men who have aged out of foster care, individuals transitioning from the prison system, and those experiencing homelessness. We place paramount importance on maintaining a safe and supportive environment for our members. Consequently, we strictly prohibit the use of alcohol and drugs within our homes to uphold the well-being of our members. Our members, who are self-sufficient and independent, actively contribute to the community by engaging in employment to meet their financial obligations. Recognizing the importance of accountability, and well-being. Many of our residents have discovered the value of participating in church activities and self-help groups to stay grounded. Programs like Celebrate Recovery, Church and Bible study, and play a vital role in fostering a sense of stability and support for our members, both past and present.

WE PROVIDE
Ashes Redeemed goes beyond the provision of secure and economical housing, extending comprehensive support to our residents. In the initial weeks, we supply essential amenities such as food, hygiene products, and laundry soap. Our fully furnished homes are equipped with WiFi, utilities, and washer/dryer hookups, ensuring a comfortable living environment. Situated within 0.5 miles of City Transit, our location offers convenient access.
Our members, who are self-sufficient and independent, actively contribute to the community by engaging in employment to meet their financial obligations. Recognizing the importance of holistic well-being, many of our residents have discovered the value of participating in church activities and self-help groups to stay grounded. Programs like Celebrate Recovery, Church and Bible study, and play a vital role in fostering a sense of stability and support for our members, both past and present. Ashes Redeemed does not receive state funding nor any monies from insurance companies. Many months, we break even.
DEDICATION
Since 2020, Ashes Redeemed has been dedicated to helping men find their path to growth and independence. We identify the social, and mental health needs of our residents. We facilitate the provision of services to address those needs. We assist these men of our communities by providing a stable environment on their path to achieve financial stability and spiritual wholeness. Matthew 20:28
About US
As a military dependent in my childhood, I've gained resilience and adaptability, laying the foundation for a life dedicated to service.
Marrying a military man not only led to a shared life but also added layers to my understanding of the sacrifices and challenges faced by military families.
With the birth of six children, my commitment to family expanded, fostering a nurturing environment for others.
Fostering over 30 children and adopting three- exemplifies our deep dedication to providing stable and loving homes for those in need.
My faith in God is my driving force. My varied professional journey has encompassed roles in diverse settings, including group homes for children and adults, psychiatric and detox facilities, as well as working for an agency contracted with DCS. Throughout this journey, my husband's background in law enforcement has been instrumental. It has not only sharpened my intuition but also honed my ability to discern motives effectively. Importantly, it has taught me to strike a balance between compassion and logic, ensuring that while I approach situations with empathy, I do not allow it to overshadow the need for sound, rational decision-making. Matthew 20:28. Just as the son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and give his life as a ransom for many paying the price to set them free from the penalty of sin.
